Privacy Policy
Live Audio Multi-Tool (“the app”) is a set of on-device audio and measurement tools. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking. The app does not collect, store, or sell personal information. This page explains the few device features it uses and why.
Microphone
The analyzer (RTA), SPL/Leq meter, and polarity checker process microphone audio live, on your device only. Audio is never recorded, saved, or transmitted anywhere. Nothing leaves the device.
Location
If you allow location, the app uses your approximate coordinates to fetch local temperature, humidity, and air pressure for the speed-of-sound delay calculation, and to show your general area. To do this, your coordinates are sent to third-party services that return that data:
- Open-Meteo — local weather.
- BigDataCloud — approximate place name (reverse geocoding).
The app does not store your location. It is used only at the moment of the request. You can deny or revoke the location permission at any time in your device settings; the app still works using manual temperature entry.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth is used only to connect to a laser rangefinder (e.g. Bosch, Leica) so a measured distance can be entered into the delay calculator. Only distance readings are exchanged, on-device. No location is derived from Bluetooth, and nothing is transmitted off the device.
Sensors
The barometer (air pressure) and motion/tilt sensors are read on-device only for the pressure reading and level tool. This data is not stored or transmitted.
Data storage
Small preferences (such as your last-used tab and calibration offset) are stored locally on your device only. There is no cloud storage and no personal data is collected.
External links
The app contains an optional “Buy me a coffee” link that opens your browser to buymeacoffee.com, a third-party service with its own privacy policy. It is a voluntary donation and unlocks nothing in the app.
Children
The app is a professional utility and is not directed at children.

If this policy changes, the “last updated” date above will be revised.
